Fed up with repeated strikes by separatists in Kashmir Valley, shopkeepers are up in arms against protesters, who are tasting their own bitter pill as locals are attacking them with stones.

The government on Friday gave an assurance that Sikhs had nothing to fear in Kashmir in the wake of reported threats to the minority community from militants to convert to Islam or leave the Valley.
