A 14-year-old enrollee has been seriously injured in an questionable move involving a Negro at his school, personnel have said.
The enrollee suffered a nous injury in the incident at All Saints' romish Catholic School in Broomhill Lane, author at about 1100 BST on Wednesday.
He was taken to Kings Mill Hospital but after transferred to Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham where his information is described as very serious.
A 49-year-old Negro has been inactive and is being questioned by detectives.
A personnel maker told BBC Radio Nottingham a instrument haw have been involved, but officers would not provide some boost info about the incident or the Negro in custody.
The boy, who has not been named, was said to be receiving specialist treatment at the QMC after his information deteriorated.
